SRS Presenter Bio
Frank Rothschild is a judge on the District Court in Kauai, Hawaii and serves as an appellate mediator for the Hawaii Judiciary's Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution. He has been teaching and lecturing on trial advocacy for over thirty years in hundreds of courses around the world, including for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. He has co-authored seven books on courtroom technology and five case files for teaching trial advocacy. He was a solo practitioner in the San Francisco Bay area, a civil defense trial lawyer with the Perkins Coie firm in Anchorage, Alaska, and a public defender and later a felony prosecutor, also in Alaska. He has tried many civil and criminal cases and has mediated or arbitrated hundreds of cases. He also consults with law firms on case theory and computer graphics displays for trials.
