SRS Presenter Bio
Professor Harris teaches Advocacy, Civil Procedure, and Evidence at Loyola University School of Law in Chicago where she is also the Director of the Dan K. Webb Center for Advocacy. Prior to joining the Loyola faculty, Professor Harris was a member of the law faculty and Director of the Domestic Violence Law Clinic at the University of Arizona College of Law for 14 years. She has also served as a senior instructor for the Children and Family Justice Center at Northwestern University School of Law and as a staff lawyer with the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation. She has long experience as a trial lawyer and advocate for the victims of family violence and is active in state and national organizations addressing the needs of families plagued by violence.
